Visual Interest seeks a full-time Lighting Controls Technician to offer on-site startup/programming services for lighting control manufacturers. Responsibilities include pre-installation meetings, troubleshooting, system configuration, and owner training. Training will be provided by Visual Interest.
The Controls Engineer coordinates with clients to design lighting control systems. Responsibilities include creating engineering drawings, preparing proposals, generating construction documents, leading client meetings, giving sales presentations, nurturing customer relationships, and enhancing Visual Interest's local market presence. Occasional job site visits to support the VI team and customers may be required.
The Controls Engineer position is responsible for coordinating with clients to develop lighting control systems designs and specifications. The position entails producing lighting controls engineering drawings, compiling budgets and presentation materials for proposals, generating quotations, engineering shop drawings and submittal documents for construction.
