CONTRACTOR SALES - WEST TEXAS/SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO

Visual Interest is seeking an outside salesperson to build relationships and close business with the distributor and contractor markets of El Paso and Southern NM. This includes existing clients and potential new clients. This position requires outside sales calls, travel within the region and closing sales in the bid, design build, and stock and discretionary markets.

Salary: $85k+ depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for closing orders and generating new sales

  • Price negotiation

  • Able to balance time working in the office or out in the field

  • Assist with design build projects

  • Able to think ahead and help clients navigate around potential problems before they arise in job process

  • Building long term relationships

  • Attending customer events, trainings, meetings and events on behalf of Visual Interest

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • In depth understanding of the construction and electrical industry

  • Knowledge of the distributor / contractor market

  • Ability to close profitable orders

  • Expertise in analyzing and solving field issues

  • Ability to work independently
