Paint & Sip w/ WiA El Paso! 🎨
Howdy y’all,
It’s your West Texas rep reptile here—Gator—reporting live from an evening that was equal parts artsy and awesome.
I had the pleasure of joining the amazing crew from WiA El Paso (that’s Women in Architecture, for those not in the know) for a Paint & Sip night at I Painted That!—and let me tell you, I’ve never looked so refined holding a paintbrush in one claw and a wine glass in the other.
Big ol’ thank you to WiA for hosting and for creating such an inclusive and inspiring space for all of us in the built environment biz. And of course, hats off (or scales off?) to I Painted That! for making it so easy for us to let loose and lean into our inner artists—even if some of us (me) went a little heavy on the blue paint.
The highlight of the night? A visit from the one and only Juli Ramirez from LightArt, who gave a stellar product presentation that lit up the room—figuratively and literally. Her insights and passion for lighting design were the perfect pairing to our paint-filled evening.
We left with full hearts, new connections, and some questionably framed masterpieces. Thanks again to everyone who made it happen—can’t wait for the next WiA gathering!
Stay bright, stay bold,
– Gator 🐊
